On Monday 2nd of October, we had Write & Speak day as part of our Learning Camp. In the workshops, we learned about sources, Haaga-Helia's guidelines for reports, and stage presence. The day was full of information which made it feel heavy. The topics were important, but somewhat quite hard to concentrate on.
Haaga-Helia's reporting guidelines
In this workshop, we learned about Haaga-Helia's reporting guidelines. We learned how to write good reports, report guidelines, and how mark the sources in our reports. We also had a group exercise in which researched what is a good report. We wrote the main points on a paper and then presented them to other teams.
Stage Presence
In the workshop on stage presence, we learned how to make a good presentation and to be confident on the stage. We also got good tips on how to win stage fright. For example, to stand the right way that the blood flows through your body, how to relax and power posing so you feel more confident. And lastly, speak clearly and loudly so everyone can hear you.
